Hi, I'm *Gabriela*

I would like to welcome you and tell you a little about myself and my business. I hold a degree in Communications from "Universidad Mexicana" in Mexico City.

I have a lot of experience working with children of different ages; starting with babysitting cousins, nephews, nieces, and later on raising 2 children of my own. I'm licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division of the Department of Social Services. I currently hold an Infant and Child CPR, and First Aid Certifications.

For the past six years I have been constantly participating in a neighborhood resource center called "Portola Family Connections", which constantly offers workshops focusing in child development and parenting. I had the opportunity to work there.  During this time, I worked with three years old children who were getting ready for Pre-K; it was a great learning experience. Both of my children assisted a daily program designed for children under the age of 5; I was present every day providing help and support for them and other children. Also, I gave knittign lessons to the parents of these children. I have attended several workshops about nurturing parents and caregivers. I am  a current memeber of the Parent Advisory Board at Portola Family Connections.

As a child care provider, I feel very confident and prepared to understand your child's needs.

My goal is to provide your child with a clean, safe, comfortable environment where they can play and learn with guidance and loving care while you are at work or attending school.

Gaby's Day Care will provide care for children between the ages of 2 months to 5 years.

I'm licensed to take care  for no more than 8 children at any one time.
